Berkshire Trumpet Workshop

The mission:

The aim of the Berkshire Trumpet Workshop is to provide online masterclass opportunities, with world class artists, to trumpet students living in the UK and Ireland. Access to these opportunities is of paramount importance with all performing participants and audience members attending free of charge. Performing participants will also receive assistance, should it be required, with acquiring the necessary technology to be able to get the most out of the classes.

Taking part:

There are two main ways to take part in a masterclass- either as an audience member or a performing participant. Performing participants will get to play for our guest artists, ask questions and receive feedback. Audience members will have the opportunity to watch all of our performing participants work with the guest artists and also submit questions, ahead of time, for our artists, time permitting. If you would like to apply to be a performing participant or would like to receive a link to be in the audience, either fill out the corresponding form opposite or email berkshiretrumpetworkshop@gmail.com (performing participants should outline what grade they are working on/what establishment they attend as well as their current teacher).

How is it funded?

The Berkshire Trumpet Workshop is funded completely through generous donations from a number of philanthropists in the county of Berkshire (UK) as well as sponsorship from partners such as Dawkes Music. If you would like more information on donating to the workshop or becoming a sponsor, please send an email to berkshiretrumpetworkshop@gmail.com, with the subject heading ‘Partners’.

Coming soon...

After the success of the Berkshire Trumpet Workshop, we are currently setting up a fund to support young trumpet players in attending masterclasses, courses and workshops, where they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to attend. If you are interested in knowing more or availing of this opportunity, get in touch using the subject heading 'Financial Support'
